What is an Indian Head Massage?
It’s a gentle and relaxing massage that works on your upper back, arms, shoulder, neck and head. It’s great for releasing built-up tension, aches, pains and stress.
As the name suggests, it’s a Westernised version of a traditional Ayurverdic massage which originated in India.
What does it help with?
- Migraines & Recurring headaches
- Neck & Upper back pain
- Neck & shoulder stiffness
- Concentration problems
- Wrinkles & sagging skin
- Low Mood / Depression
As it’s a holistic therapy, it helps you with more than just your muscles. It can also help soothe your mind, bring you clarity and peace.
Your Indian Head Massage will also include Angel Wings Reiki healing to give an added stress-busting and healing boost.
I use a very gentle touch designed to relax your muscles without the discomfort that sometimes comes from a deeper tissue massage. Great for sensitive souls!
What happens during a session?
Indian Head Massage is very convenient because it can be done through your clothing! That means you don’t have to undress unless you’re wearing a particularly bulky sweater.
If you prefer however, I can also work using a special blend of essential oils, to enhance your massage. In this case, I will need you to remove your shirt.
I will ask you to sit in a comfortable, low back chair or stool for your massage.
As no special chair, couch or equipment is needed, this can easily be done in your home or place of work. I will gently work my way over the different parts of your back, arms and head, finishing with your face.
By the end you will feel blissful! You may even fall asleep (it happens more that you’d think!)
I will insist that you to drink some water afterwards. This is very important, because you need to flush out any toxins that the massage has released. It’s also best to avoid any alcohol until the next day.
How much does it cost?
Just £30 for half an hour of muscle and mind relaxation!
This therapy also makes a great employee incentive, and can easily be done in any office or place of work. Ask me about Corporate Packages!
